Getting started · Databricks Fast Start

From first idea to a production-ready Databricks platform

New to Databricks? We set up a secure, scalable platform on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud and bring your first use case into production. Fast, without shortcuts, and on a foundation that's ready to grow with you.

Plan an introduction

What you get

A Databricks platform, set up right

Workspaces, compute policies and Unity Catalog configured according to Databricks best practices, so governance and security are in place from day one.

A solid cloud foundation

Landing zones, networking, identity and access designed and deployed as code with Terraform, on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. On Azure we use the proven setup of Lakehouse Platform, our managed Azure service.

Your first use case in production

We connect your first data sources, build reliable pipelines and deliver a working result your business can use, such as a dashboard, a data product or an AI model.

Knowledge your team keeps

We work alongside your team, document what we build and share knowledge along the way, so you can run and extend the platform yourself.

How we work

01

Discover & plan

We start with your goals, data sources and constraints. Together we choose the first use case and design an architecture that fits today and scales tomorrow.

02

Build & integrate

We deploy the platform as code, connect your sources and build the pipelines, governance and security a production environment needs.

03

Go live

Your first use case goes into production. We test, monitor and fine-tune, and make sure your team knows how everything works.

04

Run & grow

After go-live, you decide what's next: run it yourself, add use cases with us, or let Lakehouse Platform manage the platform, monitoring and costs for you.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can we start?

Usually within a few weeks of our first conversation. How long the full implementation takes depends on your data sources, security requirements and first use case. You get a clear plan up front.

Which cloud do you work with?

We implement Databricks on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. On Azure, we can also manage the platform for you through Lakehouse Platform.

Do we need our own data team?

No. We can start without one and build up knowledge in your organization along the way. If you already have a team, we work alongside them.

What happens after go-live?

That's up to you. You can continue with us to add use cases, have Lakehouse Platform manage the platform, or run it yourself with the knowledge we shared.
